During a year of difficulty and uncertainty caused by the pandemic, NPL has adapted to serve our community while ensuring that both staff and library members stay safe. We are currently providing walk-in pickup service so you can retrieve on-hold items, limited use of our public computer workstations and study tables for individuals only. No browsing is permitted, but you can ask staff to browse the shelves for a maximum of 10 items. You can also get a library membership or renew your existing one. Masks are required at all time. Our Online Library is available 24/7, with eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, downloadable music, streaming video, online courses, and much more at www.newmarketpl.ca/free. And we’ve developed online programming for children and adults, which you’ll find listed in our Programs and Activities calendar on our homepage. Whether online or in-person, the library is here to help you during these unprecedented times. As health restrictions ease the library will begin offering additional services.
